Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store To Open At Centralia Outlets
Tacoma, WA. – October 15, 2007, 2007 – Sandra Smith, Sr. Vice President of Real Estate and Finance for the R.K. Getty Corp., announced negotiations were finalized with the Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation and a lease was signed for a Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, which has been scheduled for a grand opening on December 14, 2007. This store is one of only three Polo outlet stores located in the entire Pacific Northwest region. The Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store will be located at 1420 Lum Road, across the walkway from the Eddie Bauer Factory Store, which is on the west side of Interstate 5. “We’re excited to add this premier retailer to the Centralia Outlets shopping experience.” stated Smith.
The Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store will be over 12,000 square feet in size and will bring the classic style of their brands to the outlet customer at everyday values—all with the exceptional design quality that customers expect from the world of Ralph Lauren.
“Polo quickly recognized the outstanding visibility the center’s frontage location commands from Interstate 5 travelers,” stated Janet L. Grady, President of The PRISM Company, Inc. “They also saw a direct connection between the integrity and style of the center and their own well-respected retail brand.” The PRISM specializes in the factory outlet industry and has been tapped to lead the leasing effort for the Centralia Outlets.
Other stores, which opened in the past year at the Centralia Outlets, include a Nike Clearance Store, Lane Bryant Outlet and an Eddie Bauer Outlet store. They join approximately thirty other tenants, including national brands Van Heusen, Helly Hansen, L’eggs Hanes Bali Playtex, Easy Spirit and Bass, among others.
The Centralia Outlets opened in 1988, becoming the first outlet shopping center in the Pacific Northwest. It has long been recognized by travelers as a preferred stopping point on the trip between Seattle and Portland. The center is in its final phases of a major renovation, which has transformed the center to an upscale look and enhanced the shopping experience for its customers. Incorporated into the plan, are some of the latest lifestyle-trends in retail development. The northwest design features stone columns, board-and-batt siding, and gable roofs. Additional upgrades include widened sidewalks, enhanced restroom facilities, lighting, signage, and landscape improvements throughout the center. The anticipated completion date for the entire project is summer of 2008. All stores remain open and will continue to do business throughout the renovation process.
The outlet center is located on Interstate 5 at Exit 82 in Centralia, WA. The hours of operation are 9 – 8 p.m. Monday – Saturday, 10 – 7 p.m. Sunday. For more information call (360) 736-3327 or visit www.centraliaoutlets.com.
