Riverside Firefighters Fundraiser for 2026 Stairclimb

CENTRALIA, Wash. — Members and supporters of the Riverside Fire Authority’s Firefighter Stairclimb team will be collecting donations toward their fundraising goal for the 2026 Firefighter Stairclimb in Seattle, which benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).

The fundraiser will take place at the Centralia Outlets, near Nike and Columbia Sportswear, on Friday, November 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The 2026 LLS Firefighter Stairclimb is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, 2026, at the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle. The Riverside Fire Authority will represent Centralia among more than 2,000 firefighters from across the United States and around the world.

The LLS Firefighter Stairclimb is the world’s largest on-air stair climb competition, held at Seattle’s tallest building, the Columbia Center. Rising 788 feet with 69 floors and 1,356 steps, the tower is the second-tallest building west of the Mississippi River.

Each firefighter makes the climb in full turnout gear weighing over 60 pounds, while breathing through an air pack — all to raise money and awareness for blood cancer research and patient support through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
